Born and raised in New Jersey, Michelle briefly left the Garden State to pursue her Bachelor of Arts in Writing from Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore. In college, she interned for her university’s undergraduate admission office and wrote content for their marketing and communications department. She also worked in social media for a variety of companies, including a PR and marketing agency, an environmental nonprofit, and a restaurant. Michelle joined Online Optimism in April 2022 as a social media coordinator.

Outside of work, Michelle loves to read. Her favorite food is penne vodka pizza. She also enjoys the little things in life: making Vietnamese iced coffee, Jenga, pressing flowers, and screaming along to Taylor Swift.
