Types of Google Guideline Violations
Quality infractions can include thin content, which typically targets automated content that is not written by humans, as well as exclusively promotional content produced on behalf of an affiliate page that does not add value. Thin content infractions can also be incurred by doorway pages created to lead users to the same piece of content over and over. Lastly, thin content includes stolen content from other sources that has been culled by content scrapers.
Other important quality infractions include cloaking, in which a website features content that is shown to Google but not to visitors. Sly redirects are also punishable by a manual action.
