Case Study: A Fresh Look and Streamlined Process for Jefferson Parish Finance Authority

Challenge

JPFA’s old website was difficult to use, especially considering that they needed to make daily edits to provide updated rate sheets for their financial programs. On the front end, the website felt dated and it was hard to navigate finding resources and meeting notes. Online Optimism worked with JPFA to revitalize their website with updated branding and new features.

Streamlining Updates

To simplify the daily rate sheet process, Online Optimism created and implemented a content section that could be placed anywhere on the site, but only had to be updated in a single location. This gave JPFA the convenience and user-friendliness of displaying each new day’s rate sheet on the homepage, the individual program page, and a designated quick-reference “Daily Rates” page — all of which are updated instantly when JPFA adds in the new daily rate sheet on the back end.

Improving Information Accessibility

Along with refreshing the brand for a modern, clean look, Online Optimism created an easy-to-navigate, easy-to-filter resource library and archive for JPFA’s meeting notes, press releases, and other important news so that site visitors — lenders, realtors, and potential homeowners alike — can quickly find the information they need.
