Digital Ads Position (Google Ads / Search Engine Advertising)

Passionate about digital ads?
Exceptionally helpful?
Ready to become more Optimistic?

Online Optimism’s Advertising Department is growing, and we’re looking to add new staff to our Digital Ads department! We are seeking detail-oriented, hard-working individuals who above all understand the responsibility of handling advertising for businesses large, medium, and small.

You should have 1 to 6 years of experience working within Google Ads. This is a wide range because there are multiple opportunities open, and we’ll consider applicants that meet different needs based on their capabilities.

While the position will begin remotely, we are looking for candidates in New Orleans, Atlanta, or Washington, DC. Our clients are based in these cities, and once COVID-19 is over, work will be a mix of remote and in-office time.

If you’re looking for a place to grow where your work (and you) will be appreciated and rewarded, you’ll find a home at Online Optimism.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Creating SEM campaigns and strategies for agency clients.
  • Monitoring and optimizing SEM campaigns to hit client goals and KPIs.
  • Working mostly on Google Ads. You will also touch on Microsoft Ads, and some other programmatic networks.
  • Communicating directly with 3–7 clients on a weekly basis to discuss your campaigns.
  • Handling monthly reporting and oversight of campaigns.
  • Implementing Google best practices and new features to client campaigns.
  • Crafting example advertising for new business proposals.

What You Need to Apply:

  • 1 – 6 years of digital advertising experience, either in-house or at an agency.
  • Significant Google Ads experience and certification.
  • Knowledge and experience in Google Analytics.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

In Addition, We’re Looking for Applicants Who Have:

  • Portfolio of previous work, including case studies with demonstrable ROI.
  • Experience with Acquisio, Optmyzr, or other SEM management tools.
  • Additional Google Ads Specializations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, mathematics, or similar majors.
  • Experience with WordPress sites.
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager and setting up conversion tracking for ad campaigns.
  • A love of office dogs.
